The assistant (Fay)

Fay is an AI assistant, not me. When you send it a message, the conversation is sent to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the reply. Anthropic handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy.

This site does not save chat transcripts. The conversation lives in your browser tab, carried between messages in a signed form so it cannot be altered, and it is gone when you close the tab or after two hours.

Please do not share passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive data in the chat. Fay's answers are informational only, not a quote, an offer or a commitment. The final scope and price are always set in writing by me.

The consultation form

The form asks for your name, email, an optional company, what you want to build, a timeline and an optional budget. When you send it, those details are emailed to me through Resend, and you get one automatic confirmation email. If you start from a chat, the form is filled with the messages you typed (never the assistant's replies), and you can edit them before sending.

I keep your request in my email for as long as I need it to reply and to work with you. Email hi@faisalidris.com any time and I will delete it.

Keeping out bots and abuse

A check from Cloudflare Turnstile confirms a person is sending the chat or the form. Usage limits are counted with Upstash using a scrambled form of your IP address and email address, never the raw values, and those counts expire within a day.

Hosting and your browser

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs such as IP address, page and time. The site itself does not log what you type into the chat or the form.

Your browser stores your light or dark theme choice, and, for the current tab only, the question you typed on the home page and the chat summary handed to the form. The site sets no cookies.
